From consulting to software development

Kevern Kendle had a long and distinguished career as a certified practicing accountant (CPA) in Australia, North America and the Asia-Pacific region for over 20 years. He worked with various clients and industries, gaining valuable insights and experiences in the fields of business and finance. He started his business to help his clients improve their business performance and profitability by offering them practical and tailored solutions.

Kev soon realised that there was a gap in the market for software solutions that could help small businesses automate and simplify many of the tasks that they had to deal with, such as accounting, payroll, inventory, and reporting. He saw the potential of using software to enhance the overall operation, the efficiency and productivity of small businesses, as well as to give them a competitive edge in the market. He purchased his first mainframe computer in 1982 but also invested in desktop computers, which he believed would be the future of business applications and commerce.

The birth of Kendle Computer Services

In 1984, Kevern Kendle made a bold and visionary decision: to transition his consulting service to a software development and distribution business. He wanted to create software solutions that would be user-friendly, flexible, and innovative. He wanted to create software solutions that would be magical.
